IN MEMORIAM
Alan D. Clark , M.D
1951 - 2006
We mourn the loss of
our dear friend Dr. Alan Clark, husband of A-CHAMP founding Board
Member, Lujene Clark. Dr. Clark passed away on February 7, 2006
after a courageous battle against lung cancer.
Alan was a true healer
who gave selflessly of himself to help children, throughout the
United States, who were afflicted with mercury poisoning and
vaccine injuries. Along with his wife Lujene he founded NoMercury,
which has led a successful and continuing nationwide campaign to
rid vaccines of the neurotoxin mercury. Alan's efforts were
motivated by his experience in successfully pursuing the
biomedical treatment of his own son. In his own son's recovery he
discovered the promise of biomedical interventions for children
who were labeled "autistic" and abandoned by traditional medicine.
Alan's distinguished
medical career included service as President of the Greene County
Medical Society, Medical Director Physician Assistant Studies,
Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, Missouri, and
Chairman, Department of Emergency and Trauma Services, St. John’s
Regional Health Center Emergency & Trauma Department Springfield,
Missouri, among his many and varied professional accomplishments
over many years.
It is Alan's example
of commitment, knowledge and leadership that will guide us as we
seek to fulfill the mission of A-CHAMP.
Alan's impact on our
lives is indelible.
Even as he was
fighting his illness Alan worked to spread awareness about environmental
toxins, toxic products and toxic medical interventions.
Read the story of
Alan's experience with second-hand smoke that was published in the
Kansas City Star soon after Alan's illness was discovered. Even in
sickness and pain Alan continued the battle against mercury in vaccines
that he and Lujene initiated with NoMercury. He had plans to travel to
Nebraska during the week of his passing to testify, along with Lujene,
in support of a bill that would ban the dangerous neurotoxin from use in
vaccines. His passing is truly untimely but his leadership will inspire
us as we continue to champion his cause.
Visit the Memory
page in his honor where we invite you to share your thoughts and
memories of Alan.
